Most of us have heard the phrase “love is blind”, right?
Well that is definitely true for us! We are the Clark family; dad Tim, mom Courtney, and 2 year old Juniper!
Juniper was born in October 2019, and just a few days later was diagnosed with Septo Optic Dysplasia (and a laundry list of other medical issues).
Septo Optic Dysplasia is essentially an issue with the optic nerves and how they developed during pregnancy. Among visual impairments, people with SOD often have adrenal issues and can also have problems with development.
We’d like to give a glimpse into our world! Parenting a differently abled child, and all the things that come with a kiddo who is visually impaired!
